ProTec Self Reliant
Becoming more self-reliant is always a very useful skill that benefits you even if you are not planning to dive without a buddy.
The ProTec Self Reliant certification course is designed to train and prepare the diver for solo diving situations. The skills you get
to know while attending this program will help you reduce risks when you dive without a buddy or when the buddy is not able
to help. The skills and knowledge on how to be a self-reliant diver are particularly useful when diving with a younger,
inexperienced or even a disabled diver.
The equipment used is standard equipment, slightly adapted to a self-reliant diving situation.
However, it is a fact that the best training and equipment for solo diving will not make up for a good diving buddy.
This course will help you handle many unforeseen situations that may occur while solo diving.
